Looking for a live poker game near Medellín today? Message Poker House on WhatsApp at +57 301 455 2549 with your intended arrival time and preferred format. Our team can answer in English or Spanish. Current games and seat availability are confirmed in that conversation; this guide is not a live table-status feed.

Find us at Cra. 46 #79 Sur 10, Sabaneta, Antioquia, Colombia. Sabaneta is a separate municipality south of Medellín. Keep that location in mind when comparing a possible game with your travel plans.

A running game and an available seat are different things

Before arranging transport, clarify three points:

  • The game: what format is running or expected at your intended arrival time.
  • The seat: whether there is space for you and anyone else who wants to play.
  • The arrangement: whether your place has been confirmed and what you need to do before arriving.

If the table is full, ask whether a waiting list is available, how it works and whether you should check again before travelling. Do not assume a waiting-list system or a guaranteed wait time. A sent message, read receipt or earlier enquiry does not confirm a seat.

What to put in your WhatsApp message

Give the date, approximate local arrival time and the format you want. Mention the number of people who intend to play: an answer about one seat may not cover a friend travelling with you.

Here is a message you can adapt:

Hi, Poker House. Two of us would like to visit for a cash game today, arriving around 7 p.m. local time. Is there space? Could you confirm the game, blinds, buy-in range and entry conditions in English?

The time is an example, not an advertised opening time. Replace it with your plans and wait for the team’s response. If you are still arranging your trip from the United States or another country, specify the actual visit date rather than relying on the word “tonight”.

Check the game and its currency

Ask about the variant, blinds, minimum and maximum buy-in, and any applicable charges. A cash game enquiry is separate from tournament registration. Start with our live cash games page if you are looking for a table rather than an event.

Confirm all amounts in Colombian pesos, COP. A familiar-looking dollar sign does not establish that a quoted amount is in US dollars. Our guide to poker stakes and buy-ins in Colombia explains the terminology and includes a clearly labelled practice example.

Reconfirm if your arrival changes

Use the full Sabaneta address when checking the journey from El Poblado, Envigado or your accommodation elsewhere. “Poker near me” is only useful once you check the actual destination and route from your location.

If you will arrive later than agreed, let the team know and reconfirm. Availability can change between your enquiry and your arrival. Save our directions guide from Medellín to Sabaneta and keep the club’s contact details handy for the final part of the trip.
